CANCELLATION POLICY

TERMS & CONDITIONS

bullet

We insist on our clients having valid travel insurance (including medical expenses and medical repatriation to home country cover) before joining one of our tours. You should also ensure that vehicle safari and travel by elephant back is included where appropriate. Details of your policy will be required at the time of booking and we will ask to see the insurance certificate on joining the tour.

bullet

We strongly advise all clients to undergo immunisation / vaccination against Tetanus/Polio/Diphtheria, Hepatitis A and Typhoid (Meningitis too, if Delhi is included in the itinerary). If your stay in India is for 28 days or more, we advise that additional immunisation against Rabies and Hepatitis B is also taken. Malaria Prophylaxis is also recommended, as malaria is endemic in India. Clients should seek advice from their Doctor or Travel Clinic well in advance of commencement of the tour. Please visit our Vaccination & Immunisation section on our website.

bullet

It is also worth mentioning that adventure travel is not 'without risk' (possible injury, death damage to and loss of property) and that the very nature of the trips may entail alterations to the itinerary due to unforeseen events (eg weather, road conditions, public transport cancellations etc). Travelling within developing countries can be unpredictable and we advise you to travel hopefully rather than expectantly and a good sense of humour is essential. We will make every effort to keep to the itinerary as detailed; however we reserve the right to modify/alter the itinerary for the safety and security of our clients and to keep the tour operational in the event of unforeseen circumstances and for reasons beyond our control.

bullet

Please note that for non-Indian passport holders, a visa is usually necessary for entry to India – it is your responsibility to ensure that a visa is obtained from the relevant embassy, consulate or high commission well in advance of your trip. You will not be able to enter India without a visa and it is unlikely you will be allowed to board your international flight without a visa either. Visas for India cannot be issued on arrival.

bullet

All tours are accompanied by a driver and local guide, where appropriate; should you require the services of a tour leader, this is chargeable at 1700 INR per day.

bullet

Rates mentioned on the website are indicative only. There may be slight variations in prices offered due to highly volatile business & economic environment, fluctuations in exchange rates and the imposition of any government taxes etc beyond our control. The rates offered at the time of booking shall be binding. Prices are correct as of 1st August 2008  - E+OE

bullet

A deposit of 25% of the tour price is payable by bank transfer at the time of booking the tour, a further advance of 25% payable 30 days before commencement of the tour and the remaining 50% to be paid by transfer 10 days before the commencement of the tour. Our banking details will be forwarded at the time of booking.
